Gems Diary Service and Agency represents exceptional value for money. Joining is straight forward but it must begin with you submitting your current CV for consideration.

We receive a tremendous number of CV’s and there are times when we are fully subscribed within a particular department however we will always give a decision to your submission. If successful the next stage in the procedure is that you will receive our starter pack with specific details of the service and our offer to you.

Our office is open from 09.30 am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday. There is an after hours service via the answer phone which gives a mobile number for emergencies. When you are out, busy or working we are here taking care of business. We take your messages and keep your diary. We take bookings, call times and any information about work that may come in for you. We advertise extensively; including The Knowledge and Kays. We will also ensure that you are correctly listed each year in all publications. We are pro-active in tracking productions from development through to wrap. We make sure that every production is furnished with the Gems crew list in which you are featured. We are a familiar and permanent contact number for production companies and broadcasters who routinely call us about their crewing requirements. Your professionally prepared CV is posted on this web site where it can be browsed, printed or e-mailed. It is constantly updated with your latest credits.

The Rules

We need as much information about you as possible including details about any specialist skills, examples of your work e.g. Showreel, details of the equipment you are familiar / happy / unhappy with etc. It's vital that you keep us informed of all your up-to-date credits. Send us a photo so we can all put a face to the voice. You must keep us informed about bookings you have taken personally. Please give us the dates, the company and if possible a contact number. Please also keep us informed of your holiday dates. It is advisable that you put our number on your answer phone with your own message. This means that production companies have an alternative to leaving a messages should you not be contactable. They can call us for your availability.
